Pumpkins

I apologize for my long absence but with being 8 months pregnant, everything is harder and I am more tired than normal. I haven't really had the energy to walk around and snap photos of the kids while they are working. Therefore that leaves me not much to add to my blog. I am a visual person and I need pictures not just a good explanation.

Despite my swollen feet I was able to snap a few pictures of third grade painting their pumpkin. We added a little sparkle to the orange paint to make them a little different. We didn't use any pencils or markers we just picked up the brush and went to town on our pumpkin. After looking a many pictures of different pumpkins. They learned how to use the back of their paintbrush to add the ridges of a pumpkin. They were amazed you could do that, so I am glad they learned something new.
