Valentine's Day Projects

I know I am a little late posting this but better late then never. My Tuesday class created a version of the Jim Dine heart I borrowed from Fun Art 4 Kids blog. Since I usually meet Tuesday morning and Valentine's Day was Monday I was able to talk them into coming on Monday morning. This way we were able to make a Valentine's Day project on the actually. I had done other Jim Dine hearts but this was the first mixed medium project. We used watercolor paper and traced and colored in a heart with oil pastels, then we used watercolors to camouflage around the heart. They turned out so great!!
