Sketching of my own

I started an art class at the local Art Center and I have enjoyed it very much here are a few of my sketches. Now remember I am an Elementary Education major, I took no art classes as an adult. My experience is through art classes as a child from Kathy Futral. But I have always tried to practice my passion when ever and where ever I could.

First class we focused on finding a shading technique we liked and did well.

Learning how to draw shapes in 3D.

I found out that I enjoyed using the scribble technique for shading.

Last week we focused on still life.

My sketch pad to capture things in my life. I added the yarn to be able to identify it.
