Creative Online Classes and Websites

With this year being my year of creating, I needed guidance, inspiration and help. I have found a ton of online supports and artist to lead me in this direction. I just completed Daily Drawing Challenge on Creative Bug. For this activity artist, Lisa Congdon, would demonstrate drawing a simple item and then we were to copy her illustrations or use it to inspire us to find more. I loved this challenge and it helped me learn a lot and hone my drawing skills. It helped me meet many new artist who have inspired me to step out of my box and try new things.

I also have been learning from artist, Mary Ann Moss on Sketchbookery, she guides us through filling her sketchbook and working through mistakes.

Now, I am starting a class with Pam Garrison, called Painting Petals, focusing on flowers and different techniques.

All this professional development has helped me to teach better and create better lessons for my students.
Take some time and visit some of these sites, they really have done some amazing things for me!
Here are some examples of the challenge I completed in my sketchbook.

Challenge: draw a boot

Challenge: draw a lamp
