This week in the Art Room...

Kindergarten is using thier handprints for the peacock feathers. Next week we will add the body, eyes, beak and feet.

First grade is also using their hand to create a fish. Next week we add the details: face, seaweed, rocks and water.

Second grade is drawing a sailboat during sunset or sunrise. They also outlined it with black oil pastel. Next week we will use watercolor to paint in the back ground.

Using Deep Space Sparkle's lesson on James Rizzi, third grade used a oil pastel to draw the bird. Next week they will paint it with watercolors.

My art mjors (4th and 5th graders) will draw a bird and flowers with pencil, outline with permant marker, then paint with watercolors. We are almost done with this. Next we will create a turkey hand art to decorate at our local Winn Dixie.

All this special art is to start our art fundraiser Art To Remember. Parents will have the opportunity to view the art and have it created into many differeent things. Like in this picture a ornament and notecard.

Mouse pad or hot pad.

Grocery bag or lunch box.
