Dragons

My art majors class has many boys and after observing what they like to draw I decided to have them draw a dragon. I found a step by step direction for those that are not sure what to do and allowed those who had an idea to run with it. As artist sometimes we need help with an idea and directions and other time we can just sit down and go. Surpisingly the girls did an excellent job drawing the dragon, but we are still working on it. After sketching we are going to outline it with black glue (glue mixed with black tempra paint) to give it some texture and color it in with chalk pastels. I like the chalk pastels to blend the colors well.
