Our fantastic media ladies came up with an idea! For students to make bookmarks using the animals from Brazil and Kenya we have learned to draw to sell at the book fair. Since we all encourage recycling our media ladies also had parts of file folders they had cut and saved. So we are using those pieces to draw on then add a little yarn (which was also donated) for a tassel. I know the kids will love to buy their own work and I am excited to see what we come up with.
