Kentucky Horses

My Tuesday morning class requested an art lesson on horses because they were studying Kentucky. Now I have tried multiple times to draw a horse but never felt it was good enough to share, so I was a little nervous. After a little research I found a painting of a horse laying down and the face seemed pretty simple to copy. I tried to make the drawing lines simple and not to complicated since we have not drawn a lot in this particular art class. The students tried real hard and did an awesome job. After drawing we painted them brown, white and black. Today we completed the horses by outlining them with oil pastels and adding some texture. I am so proud of Labonte's class on their hard work!
