Winter Wonderland Week

This week I was not sure what theme to go with because January is a downer with coming out of the Christmas holiday. I got my 1-3 ideas from Deep Space Sparkle and my kindergarten, I can't remember. But winter is my theme and I found a way to incorporate my splatter paint.

Kindergarten: Some of my kids say it's a red bird others a cardinal, well I am just glad they know the name of a bird. Students used their thumb print to make the red bird. I am sorry but I will have to find the source. Stay tuned!

Here are a few from Kindergarten:

First Grade: Deep Space Sparkle was the source of this idea, Patty had her students add a red detail. Not having an example for the students to copy, so they would create their own red detail. I will have the students add this in next week. We did add white splatter paint using a spray bottle center. The students love that part!

Second Grade: Another awesome project from Deep Space Sparkle. Students will begin this project next week, due to finishing the Poinsetta project. Having this display has gotten their excitment up on what to look forward too. Again the students will add white splatter paint using a spray bottle.
