It's Snowing in the Art Room!

Kindergaten was working hard on creating their very own snowman. We started the lesson off with a PowerPoint looking at the different characteristics of snowman. We looked at many different snowman. We discussed all the differences and similiarities and the different shapes that make up the body, nose, eyes and buttons. Once we were familiar with the snowman we began with a light blue piece of 18 x 24 paper and white paint. Are demonstrated how to paint the snow on the ground then the large, medium and small circle. We used a squirt bottle with white paint for falling snow. Becuase the are Kinders, I walked the bottle to each student and held it (in the right direction) as they pulled the trigger. They loved this part!
