I was a little NERVOUS...

My technique is usually to draw the subject first then paint. I have been looking at other sketchbooks from other artist and notice some just pick up the paintbrush and paint.

Could I do this? Am I skilled enough to not make it a total disaster?

Well I don't have these answers until I actually tried it.

So I found a picture in one of my books, picked up my paintbrush and went for it! I was nervous, and tried not to overthink it and just use the talent I have been given.

I am very proud of my finished product and that it looks somewhat like the picture.
